Strengthening AI Talent Competency and Career Readiness, MBKM and MKCU Centre of UNDIRA Holds Company Visit to Maxy Academy

Jakarta, June 18, 2026 — Building understanding and competency around AI is a strategic step toward achieving not only academic reinforcement but also career readiness. Based on this premise, the MBKM and KMCU Center of Universitas Dian Nusantara (UNDIRA), together with 27 representative students, initiated a company visit to Maxy AI Hub in South Jakarta on June 18th 2026.

Welcoming the student visit, Ms. Jessica Charisma, University Partnership Manager of Maxy Academy, emphasized that in today's era of Industry and Society 5.0, theoretical academic understanding alone is no longer sufficient for the younger generation to remain competitive. Moreover, the increasingly advanced presence of AI also pushes all of us to adopt a more adaptive mindset.

"AI has driven us into a new chapter, while also becoming an opportunity we can leverage across various industries. However, we must also enhance our competency and understanding so that we don't merely use it for simple question-and-answer interactions, but rather to direct the course of our lives toward a better direction. Maxy Academy exists as an open space for students, lecturers, and graduates to respond to this challenge. Through today's company visit, Maxy Academy hopes that our friends here can gain a real picture of today's industry landscape," she said.

Mr. Luthfi Alhazami, S.E., M.M., Head of MBKM and MKCU at UNDIRA, who accompanied the students together with UNDIRA's Career and Alumni Bureau team during this company visit, shared a similar sentiment. He emphasized that in today's industrial era, experience is the best investment students must possess.

"As we understand it, the collaborative program between Maxy Academy and UNDIRA focuses on preparing our friends to face today's industry through both theoretical and practical understanding, delivered through a bootcamp program. Remember, in the working world—especially for fresh graduates—work experience and the work you produce are the best investments you can start developing from now on," said Mr. Luthfi.

Without further delay, the session continued with an office tour showcasing various facilities such as integrated classrooms and co-working spaces, along with supporting amenities like a lounge area and a Learning Management System (LMS) used for upskilling programs.

Student enthusiasm grew even stronger upon entering what was considered the most applicable segment of the entire activity—a CV-writing workshop guided directly by Mr. Eka, HR representative of Maxy Academy. In this session, Mr. Eka opened the discussion by emphasizing that there is no "one-size-fits-all" CV format. According to him, the type of company and position being applied for are the main factors to consider before determining the right CV style.

"Not all positions or companies place value on aesthetic CV design. If the company is very local in scale and tends to be rigid, it's best to avoid CVs that are too heavily focused on aesthetics, as they may not necessarily suit the screening system the company uses," explained Mr. Eka.

The session then continued into an equally engaging segment: hands-on practice creating AI-Assisted CVs, which were reviewed directly by the Maxy Academy team. Using a live demonstration with Gemini AI, Mr. Eka guided students in leveraging AI technology to draft and refine their CVs.

He didn't stop there—he also provided a comprehensive overview of the AI filtering systems used by job-search platforms such as Glints, while emphasizing the importance of attention to detail in every point listed, given that AI systems now serve as the first gatekeeper before a CV even reaches a human recruiter.

As a complement, students were also introduced to the Google X-Ray technique, as well as the use of platforms like Glassdoor and JobStreet as tools for screening company legitimacy—a crucial step that fresh graduates often overlook during the job application process.

Through this company visit, UNDIRA hopes that students gained not only theoretical insight into AI and the industrial world, but also took home practical knowledge that can be directly applied in their future career journeys. The synergy between the MBKM and KMCU Center, UNDIRA's Career and Alumni Bureau, and industry partners such as Maxy Academy is expected to continue serving as a strategic bridge for UNDIRA students in becoming better prepared to face the challenges of the workforce in the AI era.
